With the success of the Humber South and Jane & Finch zones of the collaborative project with the Toronto Police Department, The Aussie X now finds itself working with four Secondary schools within Division 55 of the TPD. Four schools will participate in the 4 Day DINGO program facilitated by The Aussie X under the banner of the Ontario Australian Football League.
Students will be introduced to the various new and challenging skills, the exciting game play and rules of the sport, in order to be able to play an action packed game of Footy come the last day of the program.
After the completion of this program, students will be offered the opportunity to play in an inter-school tournament against the other 3 schools within their area. The aim from here is to provide students with the opportunity to play in for OAFL teams starting as early as season 2010.
A totally unique and exciting experience for students once again!
